Recorded at the Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey on February 4, 1965. This date is an error. It is printed on the back cover of this 1989 release, nevertheless it should read as: 7th and 14th August 1960. It was a period when Wayne Shorter and Bobby Timmons were members of the band. Previous releases in 1960 and later do show the correct dates. Sleeve credits "Digital transfers: RON McMASTER" but that may just be copied from the CD credits.
